on how hackers got through and raley's warning to customers now. good morning. >> reporter: we don't exactly know how the hackers got through but this morning the store's opening right now 6 a.m. with enhanced security for its computer system. that is because the computer system contains -- in an area containing shopper information was compromised. they believe that the system was in fact hacked. now, raley's is getting help from the fbi in what is suspected to be a complex criminal cyber attack on a portion of its computer network. that portion that contained credit and debit card numbers was stolen. now, at least one shopper has had fraudulent activities seen on her credit card. this happened last thursday. some vitamins, videogames and others showed up on a customer's card. the credit union caught the activity, closed the account and then the raley's launched an investigation. >> i think they should have a strong i.t. department so that they have good strong firewalls. >> we had security measures in place and cyber security is a never-ending battle. >> reporter: raley's this mo

. >>pam: raleys supermarket chain and its workers have made some progress and came to a tentative contract agreement. the union representing raley's workers said it won't count the results of contract-ratification votes until grievances are resolved. raley's spokesman said both parties agreed to binding arbitration for any dispute, and the union should file a grievance rather than impound the ballots. the tentative agreement was reached last month. and it ended a nine-day strike at the west sacramento-based raley's stores. >>pam: san francisco recreation and parks department began demolition of the fleishhaker pool building today. the san francisco landmark on the great highway had been closed for years before it became victim of fire on december first. days later architecture experts determined the building to be unsafe and required demolition. >> temperatures are cool. 30's in fairfield. san francisco, in his 46 degrees. it is dry and clear. and 46 degrees with a freeze warnings for the north bay valley. frost advisory for most of the bay area. that will be in effect until 3:00 a.m. cert
for striking raley's at knob hill workers. rob roth tells us how the upcoming holidays are increasing pressure. >> reporter: grocery workers now in their second week on the picket line asked customers today not to shop here at nob hill foods and raley's. >> i will not cross it. >> others did. >> we wanted to go some where else but it's out of the way. >> reporter: raley's says it's customer numbers are normal. several safeway workers say they've seen former customers here since the strike began perhaps as many as 20% more and at the near by trader joes. >> definitely more crowded. the aisles are a little more filled. like i said all the check outs were open. >> reporter: raley's and the union began their talks yesterday. >> if raley's wants to sell turkeys for thanksgiving they need to come to the table. >> reporter: the union may want to settle soon so its workers aren't without paychecks before the holidays. this store clerk has been with the company for six years. >> christmas presents and all of that. i mean it puts pressure on us but i feel like we have a pretty strong picket line. >> rep

is owned by bailey's--releas. again this begins at 6 raley's >> is across the parking lot with these signs. 8000 employees over 100 of these stores will go on strike. this is in multiple failed negotiations with raley's they want to slash medical benefits and they will go on strike as long as it takes. >> this is an ongoing strike is going to be effective. when a strike is this type for this effective it is pretty short. that is where we are hoping for we're going to hit the stores and hit them hard. as you can see they are united in the background and ready to roll. >> the spokesperson the senate all the stores are open today they are using a non union employees. and for those people that are going to work will distribute them to the stores that need them. they do need to make some changes to the pay and freeze pay increases for a couple of years. they say to stay competitive in the marketplace. but they are not changing anything for the medical benefits which is exactly the main sticking point for a lot of these folks out here. clearly, plenty of details to sort through. the two sides ar
